The design intent is to preserve the impact and stature of this timeless classic and reduce and simplify it.  The Alex sofa expresses elegance in a modern way with clean lines and precise details.

The traditional, multiple button tufting is replaced with a single belt that creates one continuous tuft as it traces the interior, contributing to its comfort.

The solid American carved walnut base is accentuated with a bronze ring detail.
